Want Ag? Poway High Delivers!

Many students and parents are surprised to learn that Poway High has an Agriculture Department, even though many teachers and business owners in our community have participated in the program over the years.

The Poway High Ag Partners, a not for profit organization, was formed to increase awareness and enrollment in the Ag department through education, marketing and financial support. The Poway High Ag Partners are dedicated to providing public educational and financial support to the Poway High agriculture program, focusing on life skills, leadership and career objectives to produce successful leaders of the future.

In addition to the agricultural classes offered at PHS, we also offer Ag Leadership and Fair Projects as a 6.5 period classes, which meets after school two days a week and carries 2.5 elective units.
